About This Role
We're looking for a sharp Data Analyst to unlock insights from millions of coffee orders and help us build the smartest coffee platform in the market. You'll analyse user behaviour, order patterns, and cafe performance to drive product decisions and create new revenue opportunities. This is a high-impact role where your analysis will directly influence product features, marketing strategies, and partner relationships. You'll work with massive datasets from our Firebase backend, building dashboards and predictive models that help us understand everything from peak ordering times to user lifetime value.
What You'll Do
Analyse order data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for growth including user segmentation and cohort analysisBuild comprehensive dashboards and reporting systems that track KPIs across user acquisition, retention, order frequency, and revenueDevelop predictive models for user churn, order volume forecasting, and demand prediction to optimise cafe partner operationsCreate data products that monetise our insights, including cafe performance reports, market trends, and competitive intelligencePartner with product team to design and analyse A/B tests, measuring feature impact on user behaviour and business metricsImplement attribution modelling to understand marketing effectiveness and optimise CAC across channelsDesign recommendation algorithms for personalised cafe suggestions, optimised routing, and targeted promotionsWork with engineering to ensure proper event tracking, data quality, and establish a robust analytics infrastructureWhat We're Looking For
3+ years of data analysis experience, ideally in marketplaces, e-commerce, or consumer apps with high transaction volumesStrong SQL skills with experience querying large datasets and optimising complex queries for performanceProficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis, data visualisation, and building predictive modelsExperience with analytics tools including Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, and BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or similar)Understanding of mobile app metrics including retention curves, cohort analysis, and user lifetime value calculationsTrack record of translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisionsExperience with real-time analytics and building dashboards that support operational decision makingKnowledge of data monetisation strategies and experience creating data products or insights for B2B customers
