About This Role

We're seeking a creative Social Media Manager to build CoffeeGrab's presence across all platforms and turn our community into passionate brand advocates. You'll craft engaging content that captures coffee culture, manage our social channels, and create viral moments that drive app downloads. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the voice of CoffeeGrab, building relationships with users, cafes, and influencers while establishing us as the go-to coffee app. You'll work closely with our marketing team to align social strategy with growth goals, turning every post into an opportunity to delight users and attract new coffee lovers.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn that drives brand awareness and app downloads
  • Create compelling content including reels, stories, and posts that capture coffee culture and showcase our cafe partners
  • Manage community engagement, responding to comments, messages, and reviews while maintaining CoffeeGrab's friendly, witty voice
  • Build influencer partnerships with coffee enthusiasts, food bloggers, and lifestyle creators to expand our reach
  • Track and analyse social metrics including engagement, reach, and conversion to app downloads, optimising content based on data
  • Coordinate with cafe partners to create collaborative content, highlighting their unique offerings and driving mutual growth
  • Develop user-generated content campaigns that turn customers into content creators and brand advocates
  • Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and coffee culture to keep CoffeeGrab relevant and engaging
  • What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of social media management experience, ideally with food, beverage, or lifestyle brands
  • Proven track record growing social communities from thousands to tens of thousands of engaged followers
  • Expert knowledge of Instagram and TikTok with strong understanding of algorithm changes and platform best practices
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and ability to translate metrics into actionable insights
  • Creative content creation skills including photography, video editing, and copywriting that captures brand voice
  • Understanding of influencer marketing including outreach, negotiation, and campaign management
  • Experience with paid social campaigns and ability to collaborate with performance marketing team
  • Natural understanding of coffee culture, food trends, and what makes content shareable in the New Zealand market
  • Compensation

    $40+ NZD per hour
    Plus equity package
